You know, she had a fondness for animals, so it just goes to show, you know. And my grandfather on my mother's side, my maternal grandfather owned, we had a German shepherd, you know, and that was given by a white family when we moved into the neighborhood,

It was a welcoming gift to my grandfather coming into the neighborhood.
