I feel like a skill is a must-have, especially if you have a weight gain or a weight loss goal. But honestly, I've been avoiding mine. I feel like I was hopping on the scale every other day, waiting for the number to change, and it sort of drove me crazy. So I feel like it's a good thing, but then again, just make sure that you're disciplined enough to avoid it sometimes, and not put so much focus on what the number says.
