I'll say this though, a lot of times people lie because their partner will flip out otherwise. You have a lot of people out here who supposedly value honesty, but they can't handle the truth. They want their partner to be honest with everyone but them.

I feel like lies are always self-serving. No matter the intent, right? It's always self-serving, ultimately. Tell the truth, just period.
