Can we talk about one of the biggest cinema sins in all of cinema history in the movie theater talking during a movie this needs to stop we're not home if you want to if you wanna talk go home it's fine and you have something wrong with like whispering to your partner or your friend like some thing about the movie had a really low voice from when we can hear you but like people who blatantly talk out loud like like they're at home I need to stop and if you're one of those people please stop I would appreciate it
Like leaning over to each other and whispering something real quick having to do with the movie like that's totally fine but having a phone conversation get out go have a conversation elsewhere why did you pay the center of the theater and have a conversation
Heather, I completely agree. I mean, I always lean over to my wife, not always, but like to like whisper something really low if I ever, you know, if something comes up. But, you know, I try to avoid that too, but I mean, like talking out loud, get out.
I agree with you it does need to stop I don't talk during the movie because I even feel like whispering unless it like me whispering like three words to the person right next to me and I'm not talking like that was on like if you're all here the first time then we can talk about afterwards but yeah but yeah I understand I have my mother who kinda talks a little too loud during movies and she embarrasses me and I tell her to just be quiet because she doesn't realize how loud she is but yeah but it does need to stop
Oh my god, yes, my wife's mom, my mother-in-law is like that. Like, she has to like gasp at every like crazy plot twist and like say something crazy out in the theater. I'm like, oh my god, please stop.
Yeah this bums me the fuck out whenever there's a conversation and it lasts more than 15 minutes I will yell like I will I will verbally say something and then I usually get too embarrassed to talk anymore I ate I kind of love doing that actually
Yeah I'm the same way man I'm like if I was talking for a while I'm just like like all first there's like a process if it's like ongoing for a while I'll probably just like go to the manager and then have some I stand there just like look at them and then if he keeps going then I'll say something loud or vice versa
I think it's acceptable if they're whispering not all the way through but just like if someone is like hey I just happened and I like oh that's his uncle I don't know I feel like it's acceptable in some circumstances of his for like 10 seconds but I am I've got a whisper they can't be loud for sure
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. A whisper is fine. Like, yeah, I mean, they're whispering like, like, you know, not that much. That's completely acceptable. It's not annoying at all, but like talking out loud, no.
I think this is definitely happened like when movie theaters first opened after Covid like people just forgot how to behave in a movie theater but I think it's just inconsiderate it is they pretend like they're watching something from home or they can just do whatever but they're interrupting other peoples enjoyment
Yeah I'm not sure why people are full on conversations in a movie like I understand like maybe something surprising up in the movie and you just kind of like to little whisper to the person next to you for like maybe half a second but like a whole conversation about unrelated stuff or even about the movie is just a little uncalled for
Yeah I killer they were singing movie and like the couple next to it was like literally just talking at like regular voice and I'm like guys like what are you talking about you're watching a movie I will talk after I don't know
Especially when you're talking loud and I'm noxious right next to you honestly and years old people always ask what's gonna happen next if you're paying to move you should know what's gonna happen next honestly
I think it's the 50-50 thing with people talking during the movie. A lot of times folks just don't care, so it's rudeness. And the second time I think if you're really engaged in something, then you're going to give commentary back. back but the biggest thing and best thing to do is go to the Alamo Draft House to where they will kick you out if you're talking during the movie.
Bro Derek I wish we had animal drives house I've only ever been to one Alamo Drafthouse I when we visited Texas were from Florida so we don't have them here or not yet I think but I wish man
I really don't understand those people because you know damn well that you're ruining the mood for everyone else like shut up go home I totally agree with you
So the thing about me is I love to talk during movies Not at the theater though but I had an ex who didn't know how to whisper and every time we would watch a movie together he would talk at full volume and I would be like shut the fuck up and he would be like what I'm whispering no he'll be like I'm whispering no one can hear me but I like everyone can hear you
