What's everyone's thoughts on a social media detox because like a part of me is like sometimes I want to just you know like quit everything and just have time to myself and then a part of me is like it's difficult because like my job is mostly to do with content creation and social media so it's like how would I even do that
I definitely understand where you're coming from. I'm also a content creator, so you know we have to be on social media. But a few things that helped me are sometimes I will pick a day to only look at notifications, like only look at my updates, no scrolling, or I'll pick two days out of the week where I don't open the social media apps at all. And then I also have a timer on my phone so that for certain platforms I can only be on there or scroll for up to one hour or two hours a day.
