Good morning and happy Wednesday. I'm sure it's not morning for most of you. It's 9 40 here, so I'm sure it's almost one o'clock for some of you, but regardless, it is Wednesday. We are halfway through the week. So tell me one positive thing that's happened so far in your week. I'll go first. For me, I was finally able to work through my imposter syndrome and I uploaded my three videos to Amazon to unlock the commissions. So I'm super excited about that. I've been struggling hardcore with imposter syndrome and I'm finally just working through the fear. And so I'm really proud of myself for that. I hope you guys all have a great day and I hope we can catch up later.
I actually have a really bad habit that I've been trying to kick for a while and I finally did that this week well it's been three days now so not that long but I'm really proud of myself for that as far as that imposter syndrome goes girl I can relate to that I got to tell you I feel like I used to spend so much time and try so hard At all of this stuff and now I just have totally backed off and realize that nobody else is any more special than me
We're all just human doing the best we can and I've also kind of picked and choose who I wanna work with through all of this I definitely say know a lot more often than I say yes and that has been a good boundary to set as well
Habits are so hard to break, so you should be super proud. Even if it's three days, you should be celebrating each day because habits are so hard to break. And it takes almost a month to be able to fully break them, but you're like on the right track. So kudos to you. I'm proud of you too.
And yes, on the imposter syndrome, I'm learning to just let things go and not take things so seriously. Especially with TikTok, like I am like, okay, you know what? If I can post, I can post. I am gonna try and be as authentic as I can, even if I'm going through a hard time, but I'm not... My whole life is not revolving around content creating now, and it's kinda nice. But I'm also trying to get into UGC to make money so I can stay home.
Imposter syndrome is legit a monster I've been there I dealt with it it's definitely something very hard to overcome and I'm just glad that you're able to recognize it face it and get past it and I'm totally here if you ever need some hype that little height man I'm over here because it it's definitely something that is doable to get over and I feel like imposter syndrome is just negative thoughts not letting you succeed to your best ability
And you're amazing and you definitely deserve to be able to accomplish anything you set your mind to when you definitely can and it's just lose little it icky thoughts that you know we try to keep us down but we're in this together girl and you're doing amazing I'm so glad that you're able to upload those videos and it was probably like once you did it did you feel like man that wasn't even so hard because I same
Well first, you are the absolute sweetest. Thank you so much for saying everything that you did. Yes, it took, it's taken me a long time to realize it's just my negative thoughts. It's not actually like the truth, but it's been so hard to work through that because I typically would just stop what I'm doing until the emotion settles down. But if I keep doing that, I'm never gonna actually get to where I want to be so I'm trying to work through it and so hard.
And I appreciate you, you know, extending your hand, saying that you're here for me if I ever need a hype up and that same thing goes for you. You are so sweet and so amazing, and I'm here to support you in any way I can as well.
That is awesome I'm so proud of you I never heard of imposter syndrome until you just said it and then I went and looked it up but I totally feel that that is some thing that I put down on myself and I don't think I'm good enough all the time
Aw, thank you so much Kelly. Yeah, I was really struggling and yeah, I feel like a lot of us struggle with imposter syndrome But we just don't know the term But yeah, once I figured out the term I was like, oh my gosh. Yeah, this is exactly How I feel because let's be honest when I started tiktok. I knew absolutely nothing and I feel like I've been really successful successful, coming from not having any knowledge in social media and, you know, how much I've grown.
So I'm just trying to remind myself like I didn't know what I was doing when I started my TikTok and look where I am now so like if I just keep going work through being scared I should see the same type of rewards so that's just what I'm hoping.
