So quite a few years ago a company called solar roadways came in with the promise of replacing all of our roads with solar panels so that we could make electricity off of the abundance of space that we have on our roads and essentially turn all the heat and all the other other waste materials that are caused by driving on the roads into energy as well what turns out this wasn't actually that possible the roads weren't well strong enough to take on trucks and cars going up massive speeds are going across them every single day multiple times a second and I didn't create as much energy as people thought either so A big big fail on the side roads ports at maybe we'll find other things that we can turn solar the roads did not seem to be one of them
