Going to get straight to the point here. What's something you did that changed your life for the better? For me, it was actually pursuing grad school. I moved abroad to Australia. I got my degree there and then I moved back to the US and now I own my own business and I love everything that I did and relevance to that. And yeah, we'd love to hear what you did.
Mine is having kids surprisingly I never wanted kids and I was basically ruining my life I was drinking every single day spent blown my money working every day all day just till I can get drunk and I have two beautiful kids and I don't feel the need to do that and I love the shit out of it It's made my life better all around and I never expect you to be happy so
I love this topic this is a great question I would say a couple things I started boxing to release my anger that I had inside and that literally saved my life and also I would say just starting my own business that has opened so many doors for me and it really just kind of made me realize my potential
Oh breaking up with my best friend because she was using me in so many ways and so when I told her something and she didn't believe it And we started having a fight and she tried to call me a liar about it and then she start making fun of it and she said why did you not call the police so it also
First off I want to say congratulations on all your achievements something that I did that change my life for the better was arm I went from working in a hair salon like doing hair to stripping and then I am I stop dancing you know and then I went back to doing hair but I actually owned my hair salon so once I decided to stop being an exotic dancer that definitely change my life for the better and then I found my husband I got married
One thing I think I did that change my life for the better honestly was just not caring about what people thought of me or like what I did with my life in a sense that when I was in my late teens I was just so like oh my God what's going to happen blah blah blah and I just don't care I just live life for myself and only myself and obviously people around me like you generally love and care for me like I would care about their opinion but I know all the relevant people Cut them out honestly
For me, it was committing to the, well, to my husband now. He was like such a nice guy, so I, you know, thought, no, I don't want to be with him. He's too nice and, you know, wanted like an emotionally unavailable guy. And then when I realized I should just give them a chance, that changed everything.
I think a lot of times people say like oh this is a shitty situation or like oh how did this happen to me but like Normally those big moments like promotion laid off like school anything like that like I Always felt like everything happens for reason and everything happens at the right time And if you don't like even in the moment, I never put any you know steak in those moments I just was like mad or sad or happy But like those moments are everything man. Those those big pivots like do change your life for sure
