So I want to know what was the first piece of tech you bought for yourself? Not a parent not a friend not a grandparent, but solely for you I think it's something that we all probably remember for me. It was a city player with MP3 I thought I was someone special didn't really understand how to even download MP3 but I just knew that I needed to have it because I heard about it. What was yours?
Is that a pretty good question the first piece of tech I support with my own money was an iPhone 5S I think got a secondhand it was good for the time but you know when you're 17 just have your first paycheck limited but it was a hell down for awhile is it good
At 17, I still could imagine that being like, yeah, I arrived. I have my iPhone, I'm good. And I definitely felt that way when I bought my first iPhone as well. I ended up with a four and I was just happy with life.
Yeah not sure if I was killing it as I am first but there in mind this is when the iPhone 7 or sunny was already out there was a bit behind but at the time I was like this is great iPhone 7 maybe the success of available as a generation behind by still feels great
But I think this is a lot though because even at that point having an iPhone 5 wasn't as heart wrenching as now having an iPhone let's say 11 versus a 14. It's such a gap because they phased them out on purpose. Back then you could really stretch your phone at least two or three maybe even four years before really having to have another one.
But now, it's like they're making micro differences, but where they're making the differences are the things that you want, like better camera quality or better sound quality, audio. Those are things I'm like, ugh, I really can use that. and they make you feel like you need it, but do we really?
The first piece attack that I ever bought was a beeper and I made different melodic sounds awesome missed the beepers too Cuz you do like secret text codes Those were the days
Mine was definitely a CD player and it was silver I remember it like it was just yesterday and the funny thing is when I think was it the iPod that the first ever iPod and then I think we got a new iPod nanos after that really small one I thought like a boss like I had upgraded and no one can touch me I can't remember how are used to upload music on there but that was iconic
The first piece of technology that I ever bought besides like a game, which I imagine would be technology, is the pieces to creating my first PC. Like, built PC. Everything else was usually bought for me, but when I had gathered enough funding and bought it, I did it myself. And it was definitely an experience, really cool, and I'm glad I did it. I'm pretty proud of myself.
