Okay mamas what methods do you use to get your little ones to sleep? Is there like certain color lamps, white noise, lullabies, rocking them, like how do you get your little ones put down.
For both my kids up until a year in a bit it was breast-feeding that his nurse to sleep in our daughters 2 1/2 and my partner just lays down with her in bed and she ends up passing out I just make sure she's super tired of the day and then my son
So he still nurses to sleep so it'll be hard when he's a little older and get the leg try to tackle bedtime bedtime is hard I feel like you get there really tired of your kids all day and sometimes it out and this energy
I love how you say that you let your baby sleep with your partner and he gets them to sleep. And that's exactly how it is for me. like my daughter goes to sleep so easily with her dad, but it's always a hassle with me.
So my son's three now and we do this thing where we turn off the house. So I turn off all the lights and he's been really into turning off all the switches before bed and I'll get into his PJs and we have this indoor swing that I only put up by bedtime. Thank you.
So once the swing is up I'll put on some like ambiance music from YouTube I usually go with this season so now all the ambiance music on YouTube is like kind of spring vibes so it's very piano we which I love and then we'll read a book and then
Routine routine routine always before bed we do bath and bed and then that time you know we kind of prepare them for that because we play before hand we say it's bathtime we do bath we read stories cuddle and then they go to bed and that's just what we've always done
I am just now starting to implement a real routine like this week and I do see the change starting to happen. At first I'm like this is not working but I am starting to see the change so yes routines are so important I have been liking.
Well, I would say one hour or so before approaching their bedtime, I really try to keep things calm in the house. So everything mostly dark, just soothing lights, soothing music, some lullabies as well. When that transitions to their bedroom, I try to maybe read them a book. Sometimes as the lullabies in the background and I'm reading the book, I'm singing it with a melody, if that makes sense.
I love this and I'm going to still it. I hope that's okay. Yes, shutting down the house and just letting soothing music play. I really like that someone else also mentioned that so I'm definitely taking that. And the reading with the Singing it, I love that too. You have great ideas, so I am taking notes. Thank you, Dad.
So our nighttime routine is reading books getting in her sleep sack brushing teeth and then I rock her to sleep every night well sometimes it's only for like 10 seconds and then she's ready to lay down in her crib
