Actually you don't want to ties going out as a family on the Friday night renting a movie and it ain't tell yo ass to walk to the movie store and take it back on the Sunday
I definitely agree I think that they're very much so underrated I have fond memories of my relatives taking me to a video store it's not the same as picking something out on Netflix I'll tell you that
I would say underrated because I remember when I was a kid there used to be a video rental store that I will go to all the time and it's gone now and I kind of miss going there and renting movies so yeah I would say under rated
I definitely feel you on that I feel like it is very much so underrated it's an experience that if you know what it's about you would acknowledge it as underrated but if you had no idea he would be like oh well I'd rather just you know chilling Netflix or whatever
As someone they grew up in the 90s I feel like you just had to be there it was a great bonding experience for most of us is underrated there was nothing like a Friday night at the school going to Blockbuster with your family and then ordering a pizza and everybody watch a movie together
What is born in 96 so I didn't get much of the whole 90s experience but I know that most video stores in and close so like the 200010s so I got a little bit of it and I can definitely agree with you it was the best part was hanging out and doing all that
For sure for sure I think that it's such a blessing to be able to see that part of our childhood oh I mean people nowadays have a child has it's very stuck in my head
Yeah it was like a whole event and that's that's the nostalgic part about it that we're not gonna experience as technology advances like it's cool to have the access to everything on our fingertips but then the experience just isn't as meaningful
Yeah oh my gosh it was so social do you like stand beside people and even chat about or did you see this one or than my partner and I have the time we were we chatted a lot with the girl that worked there and we became friends IRL
And I know everybody thinks they have social anxiety now and they do I even do now like a somebody call me and I'll be like text me first but the thing is is that was created we weren't as naturally like that before
Such a good point to bring up I think that because we created distance to this technology now it brings up so much anxiety to deal with it in real life so we'd rather just do the whole online thing I agree with you
This definitely used to be more entertaining because the process of picking a movie was more fun but now we're literally just like sitting and like scrolling on Netflix like looking for what to watch
Yeah I agree with you it used to be a whole thing like coming back from school on a Friday your pants with like surprise I wanna take you to block possible by gets knocked it was a whole thing and now it's just doesn't have the same it's just minor scrolling
I have to say, although it is nostalgic thinking about the times we had growing up going to rent a movie, it is a reason why the movie renting business is no longer around. because owning the movie compared to renting the movie just for a small price is very stupid.
No but I miss Redbox when I used to just like get them shit straight out from like the outside of Walgreens and then like forget to return them so like I'm poor and I start like making my shit negative I don't know I was a kid I never had money
