Morning. So I want to know as a first time mom, did you have a Holy Grail? Like did you take a product that helped you get things done faster or maybe give you a few extra hours of sleep or was it help from others? Me as a first time mom, my Holy Grail was I got help from others. Um, it was a few of my family members that offered to watch my son for me so that way I could you know get some me time and you know catch up on some sleep because I was a single mom and I was living alone so I really didn't have a whole lot of help I it was just me and me only so when I had someone watch my son for me it was that was my holy grail That was nice. It didn't happen often, but it did help when I did have the help.
So my first was a very hard baby. She cried a lot. She was up every one to two hours. I was getting no sleep. My mom flew out a couple days before baby was born to stay with us to help.
And she would take my oldest in the afternoon as long as she was fed and content and sleeping and let me go and nap and sometimes I would nap anywhere from three to four hours in the afternoon that helped me.
She stayed for a month after my daughter was born and I think that really saved me and my sanity because I was getting no sleep at night because my daughter was a terrible sleeper and she still is and she's three.
Oh, that is amazing that she stayed for a month and helped you because I really feel like the first month is like really tough to get by and that is so amazing that she helped you. What a great mom.
The Freida Nose Sucker was, and probably still is, my favorite product to help get mucus out of a baby's nose. Or like boogers out of a baby's nose. I still swear by it.
So I didn't have a good exact item I was like my holy Grail but I'd say like the support system I think it's super important so my mom was around a lot I was like some days weird bump heads and it would kind of be
It would kind of be a little bit too much having her around, but at the same time I was like super grateful for it because I was able to have a nap, was able to clean and cook in peace and not have to worry about the baby. But yeah, just asking for help and just knowing that the support is out there.
My holy grail that I freaking loved was a baby swing and like those baby bouncers because my kids got so distracted with those and they loved them they could be in there for like a solid hour so that way I could just like cook or get things Done
For me hands down it was the baby swing that thing was a freaking lifesaver I would put my kids in there when they were little and that gave me an extra 30 minutes an hour to finish cleaning up, washing dishes, whatever I was doing, get a little break to myself, like, yeah.
The first thing I did when I was growing up was that my mom would help me when the baby was born. And then whenever she was tired or something I'd put her in the swing and she'd go in the swing and then she'll for
My holy grail is like getting out for the day honestly It really helps getting fresh air also a silly holy grail I have is coffee like it literally always makes my day so much better whenever I get an iced coffee, I'm just so happy.
