Did you know the average for a kid to have a phone is age of 10 would you be OK to give your kid a phone at the age of 10 personally I would be OK with it I might just wait until maybe like 11 or 12 because I didn't get my first one until like I was 11 or 12 I can really can't remember but I think 10 would be a an OK age to start off and it wouldn't be like an iPhone or anything like that it would just be like a simple prepaid phone that you get at like Walmart or whatever and I'm just putting minutes on it because I know they're not gonna use it that much so Personally I would just and what they want to have social media I don't think I will put any social media on the phone until at least at least 1314 you gotta gotta wait a little bit because social social media is like crazy but I would be OK with just getting them like a simple prepaid phone with minutes or so that way you know if you're over at a friends house I could check up on them or you know if I over to babysitters like I could check on them too but yeah I would be OK for my kids to have a phone at the age of 10 Would you be OK with it what age do you think would be OK would you wait a little bit longer or what like what kind of phone would you give them I would always just give us a prepaid phone until they're probably a little bit older I'll probably wait until they can have more responsibility to said have like an iPhone or I have like a nice little android or whatever the case may be I would just have to wait until they're a lot older and a little bit more mature to have some thing that nice Yeah let me know what you think
Social media is definitely not allowed but I do let Phoebe have YouTube on her phone but it has a time limit on it so she can't be on there all day she can also FaceTime me or her friends she has a few games that she has but I also have the App Store locked so she can't just download anything she wants to but other than that she completely has her phone with her and I can monitor it from my own
Which is so crazy because I didn't get a phone until I was 16 and I paid for my phone bill. My mom never paid for my phone or my phone bill and I've been paying for my own phone bill ever since. the only other person that has ever paid my phone bill was like a boyfriend of mine.
OK so when I was 10 what is that like fifth grade I probably had one and third and fourth grade one because my parents like even though I live close to school they had me walk home and my dad just also wanted to get it for me because my parents are separated so he would just call me often But he owes they also got me like a prepaid phone like we didn't have like the technology like iPhones until maybe a year or two later after that so
Then like maybe I would definitely it probably not be cool but have like one of those phones or like has stuff logged or like you can't use and if they want to use like the Internet then they can wait till like I want to have like a desktop at home hopefully that's still in by the time they're teenagers
I wouldn't let my kids have social media at that age. I would just let them have a phone so that way I can talk to them and check up on them when they're over at a friend's house or whatever the case may be. And I would know that they don't have apps on the phone because I would monitor their ago by finding her browser Pero Sak기.
Well it can actually be a lot like for example like my son can go over to his friends house and I can check up on him and make sure that he's OK and then or whatever that was the case may be like if he has like an afterschool activity I can still make sure that he's OK and that he's doing fine so I think that A 10-year-old will be OK to have a phone it's a prepaid phone
Yeah, so like I said, prepaid phone, I want to just go out and buy him like a brand new iPhone. I would get him a prepaid phone that I would put minutes on.
Fair enough then I'll be certain situations but I guess it depends if you have like limitations of her luck as a regular phone would have access to it 24/7 and all the time or would you give it to them just when they need it for them to after school club or if there is a friends house
So my parents gave me a prepaid phone at 11 this is what they did for me I had my phone for afterschool activities one I went over to a friends house and I also had it on the weekends and I would have to give them my phone at like you know for example like at dinner time and then I wouldn't have I wanna get my phone back until when I go back to school the next morning so I think like I think that will be the exact same thing that I would do for my son
