Here are some quick tips on how to manage diabetes type 2 if you have other tips like for free to mention them because it is just a quick roundup but I would definitely say drink a lot of water right with every ml so even if you're gonna drink something like orange juice which you really shouldn't be like anything you shouldn't really be drinking should a sugary drinks or like a coke or something, try and like fill up with like lots of ice or dilute with lots of water but try and avoid them in general. I would also say again, leading on to my second tip which is avoiding sugar like avoid sugary drinks just try and avoid it as much as you can in food. If you have to make your own catch-up then so be it and I would also say try and get lots of exercise like exercise makes such a difference and trying to incorporate into your daily life so change your commute going to work and stuff like that like think about cycling or walking rather than maybe just driving if you if you have the time essentially um yeah like those major lifestyle things can make such a big turn around.
Someone I know is just diagnosed with this so it's helpful to read some tips about anything that I can like suggest or help her with as well. So thank you for that.
I'm so sorry that your friend is diagnosed with diabetes but as long as she manages it and she's on top of it every single day and she's just cautious of making like a lifestyle change like not a little change here like a big lifestyle change like just in terms like her fitness, what she eats, her overall sugar intake, then she will be more than fine.
These are definitely some good tips. I am actually a type 2 diabetic currently on no medications because I got mine under control just through eating better and exercising regularly. I can definitely say that yes these are some very good tips so thank you for sharing.
You're welcome Bethany. I also wanted to ask you, so what things did you massively change in terms of your diet, working out like how frequently did you work out. I would love to know more about that.
