That's gonna be a topic if moms know best. So I think they definitely do because they've grown up and they've went through the experience and ups and downs of certain things. And I think they definitely do know best. And when my daughter grows up, obviously I'll help navigate her through life and just let her know my experiences and the outcomes. I don't know, growing up my mom has always taught me right from wrong basically told me like she knows best and just listen hard because she's been through it and yeah there's a lot of things that like a lot of advice that she's given me that I've put into my own life now and yeah I think mom's definitely do know best for sure.
From a mom who has a mom as well obviously I don't think that it's always accurate that mom's know best and I say that mainly whenever it pertains to after puberty I feel like every kid kind of goes separate after puberty
Meaning like you're going to experience things that are different from what your parents experienced or the same and yeah You can give advice, but it doesn't mean they always know what's best in that situation but when it comes to being little and you're like tiny, you know, I feel like yeah, mom's usually no best.
You're completely right and I now think about it. I totally understand and I totally agree with you. I think it just like depends on the situation or like the topic. You know what I mean? Like Like, a lot of things moms do go through that experience in that.
They go through the experience and they go through like the light situation or obvious like certain things they can give advice but I know I told her if you like science tuition they can't really because they haven't gone through it like I told agree and I wish I would have went back and I should reword it
Honestly girl I can agree with you that you know best Growing up my mom always told me like oh when you have hair to be home you understand and you know now I understand
Oh OK so being your mom myself I might have a controversial answer to this because I feel like it is all just perspective of experience and so like mom can know best and certain aspects of life
But what it comes down to you as I think mom is there to lead with guidance and show protection and then a kids obviously are going to end up growing and becoming their own adults so they should also learn with in their own situations and what
Like for example of my son gets to his teenage years and he's hanging around with the wrong group of kids or bad influences I can tell him all I want that I don't want him hanging around like bad people but he's gonna have to grow his own judgement to know why
I totally agree with you I should've like think about it now I can't jumped to fast answering this and meeting making a soundbite but I totally agree and I wish I could go back and just change
I miss you I just change what I said it's like yes mom's know best to an extent but they're also like you said there to guide you and let you through like all aspects of your life
Yeah but do you really know best because they went through the whole experience to look out for you and is trying to give you the best outcome in Santa coming home list in 10 just had a look after you
Honestly I think nine times out of 10 yes they do because they are the ones that spend most of the time with a child however I do believe there are some circumstances where the dad does have the child more so the dad honestly may know more than the mom
I think it depends on the mother of course. My mother always told me she knew best and that she was doing the best and everything but it was very abusive so yeah no
I think it's just that making sure that you're explaining the difference to your child that you're not doing what's best or you know what's best but just that you're trying your best and and what you know.
I think that a lot of things moms know best. There are some areas where they may not. You know, if it's an area for my kids that I don't have the answer, I'll let them know that. that and we try to find it together or I try to help them.
