If you guys have been listening to some of my previous soundbites and I started selling things online and it's been an interesting process and definitely a learning curve as to the scams that are out there and what all needs to be included in a post and what people are actually looking for and how to price things and all that and It's also been a little bit frustrating I wish there was more of a guide I don't know if any of you have any suggestions but I am definitely all ears because like I would like to be more successful at this is anyone else doing the same thing that I'm doing like if so can you send me a message because I would like to pick your brain

I don't know if you've heard of it, but if you look up Gary V's trash talk, he goes over kind of how to like look for certain things and post them. I use his method, I resell stuff on eBay, mostly Pokemon cards.

But what you want to do is filter your eBay listing, so like search for the item when you see it at the store before buying it ideally, and then search it on eBay and then go into your filter.

and hit the settings sold items and then you can see how many of those items that you're thinking of selling actually sold and what price they sold for and and that kind of gives you a range to know if it's worth buying.

And then I stick with two places. I use Facebook Marketplace to sell like household items. Those tend to sell the best there. And then it's local so I can like avoid scams. And then for anything else, I just use eBay.

Good portion of that stuff that I have like the vintage lighting in so they got that I think there might be a little bit better of a place because like a lot of that stuff is pretty undervalued

Pretty undervalued on eBay so when I have Etsy it's better for that I just know that I have a brand new shop with no reviews so I don't know if I should do ads but then I was like looking on the App Store and there's so many so thank you

For that type of like vintage furniture stuff, have you tried like Facebook Marketplace or apps like Mercari or Let Go?

I have downloaded Mercari today and I will get it on there. I have my stuff on Facebook Marketplace but there's so many people that are just selling for so cheap in this area, the Joplin, Missouri area that is just crazy.

Congratulations! Selling online is just so cool. But obviously you have to learn certain things first.

Obviously the learning curve is something that not everyone is able to afford but but it takes time to learn.
