Serious question, do you guys bring your own water to the gym? Because I'll bring my own water, I'll drink it halfway through the session that I'm doing and then I want more but every time I get water from the fountain I feel nauseous and sick so I end up buying bottled water for $2 from the refrigerator. Has anyone else been in that situation? happens every single time.
OK you're gonna think I'm weird but I have this reusable water bottle and I actually keep like a gallon of drinking water in the trunk of my car for this exact situation because dude that fountain water is trash I feel like there must be bugs in the pipes or something
Girl, no, I do not think you're weird at all. Like that is exactly what I do. I stopped doing it the past two years because I would forget and you know you can't have them in the summer. Like in the summer it's not safe to do that.
I bring a full water bottle to the gym but that's not great that the water from the fountain makes you feel nauseated. Maybe you should tell the gym that.
Here's the thing I've always thought about because I brought it up once years ago But I've come to realize that it's any gym. I've been to there's only one gym that I've been to that it didn't happen and it was a really upscale bougie gym.
Other than that, it's always been a no-go. Like, I don't feel like, like the workers there don't care. There's nothing they can do about it. So it's better that I'm proactive and I'm keeping myself safe by doing something first.
You know what? Oh my god, that is a really good close equivalent. But no, this was literally like in my high school. So no, it was not Equinox, but we can say Equinox Jr.
girl you probably just need more water i usually have like a half gallon bottle and honestly i recommend it it's so convenient but um given that i have that big of a water bottle i bring my own water very rarely do I forget to refill and have to get it over there.
I've tried to walk around with like the bigger water bottles but I have nerve damage and arthritis and stuff so like sometimes when I'm holding them they've fallen they've cracked so that's why I don't use the really really big ones anymore.
Yes, you see what I'm saying? Why does the water taste like somebody was washing their sins away in it? You know what I mean? Why does it taste like it's supposed to be a flavor and it's not? I don't like that.
I take my own water I have my bottle I believe it's about 28 ounces but if I do finish that one that I have two extra little water bottles in my bag just in case
See, that's what I'm saying. It's just better to bring your own. You know what you're working with. You know what I mean? I don't know. Something about that fountain water girl. I don't recommend. a 10 out of 10.
Yes totally get on this one I think the reason I got grossed out wins was because someone that was really sweaty just put their whole mouth all up in the fountain and I was like oh no thank you after that I was answering my water
Oh my god, what is that? What is this thing that people think is okay to do? I really like to observe people and at this grown-ass age I have still found people to be putting their lips on the f-
Yes you get me oh my goodness I remember I mentioned it to a couple people and I was getting responses that I did not want to because they said so just clean it like what is it you're part of the problem to overthink your mouth
I'm weak at the off-brand because it's so true that it's literally a sticker of the gym logo slapped on top of an empty bottle. I completely get that. And I don't like the water because why does it have an aftertaste? Water should not have an aftertaste.
I just remembered, okay, the name of the water bottle that I use, I buy it from Marshall's. It's called Hydropeak. So it's like insulated on the inside with the, you know what I mean. It's called Hydropeak. Hydra.
The answer is yes I would set reminders to myself to bring water literally I would make sure there is at least three or four bottles of water in the fridge already grab and go grab and go grab and go bag I don't like I mean if I was super dehydrated and I was out of water I'm not gonna purchase water from the gym it's prom it's so expensive it's ridiculous price gouging Be dramatic but still worst-case and Ariel I am drinking from the fountain
