Do you guys meditate when you wake up in the morning or prior to going to bed? The past couple of nights I've been attempting to do so before bed but honestly I've just been passing out. You know what, every way that I try to do meditation it just doesn't really work out for me or maybe I'm doing it extremely well. So for those who do meditate, do you guys do it when you wake up right away or do you do it prior to bedtime.
I find that I don't have a specific time of day that I meditate is, just like an all day meditation I'm not the type of person to sit there and just like sit in silence I'm more of a an active meditator I love sitting and thinking and just having like an abundance mindset if that makes any sense
I always thought that because I'm such an aggressive thinker, I'm always lost in my head. I don't really talk much or often that I thought that would be great at meditating, but I also work a lot. So whenever I do get a moment to sit, I just pass out. So whenever I'm trying to meditate, I just fall asleep again. Today, I woke up what at like seven, closed my eyes to meditate. It was 11 am. I was already late for work.
Did meditate, I gotta do it more, but it is really nice to be mindful, do it in the morning or night and refresh your mind and just be present with yourself. So I do gotta do it more. I would mostly do it in the morning, but I should try doing it at night. might be calming as well.
So I would try to do this thing. So I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong too because I was doing it where I would come home straight from work and then sit down and try to have a moment of peace before getting to the rest of the things I need to do at home. But I would get home so late around 10 p.m., 11 p.m. that it just didn't work out. Tonight, what I just recently did, cause I'm awake, I took a shower, did basically a whole night shower routine and now I'm all relaxed and now I'm about to do the meditation.
