What is the value of a lie? We teach our kids to lie or not to lie. I think we should teach them the value of lying. When mama come downstairs and she got some new dress and she tells me or my son how do I look, I wink at my son and I say here's the value of a lie. You look fantastic. You look beautiful. What's the value of a lie?

From that example, it's invaluable. Telling, you know, your mum that she looks beautiful, even if just for a second it made her feel like a princess, made her feel stunning, made her feel magical, that feeling will have stayed with her all evening. She will have felt confident, confident, happy, it will have shone through her, like, yeah.

Depends what it gets you. I mean what guy hasn't told a lie to get in a woman's pants, right? So the value of that lie, oh yeah, oh sucky sucky. But um, you know, I think the lie, the value of a lie is directly proportionate to what it gets you.

What I have learned in my life from the experiences that I have had within every lie, there is a kernel of truth. And that kernel of truth can be built on. It can go in a positive way or a negative way. But I have also learned that sometimes, especially with the art of lying, the only reason I would lie is to protect myself or my family if I was in danger. That's the only time I would do it.

The value of deception. Well, if we were speaking in terms of war, then we would say everything, but since we were talking about what this does to our other institutions, I would say that it devalues. That lies and deception and dishonesty create a culture of mistrust and actually take away, so devalue.
