I have just really been struggling this whole month mentally physically and emotionally and like it's so weird because March is like the month of like blooming and new beginnings and what not but for me I just feel like I have been just dwelling on my past and like just everything I feel like everything is just really getting to me so what are some ways that you get out of this like the stump like I'm just I don't know anymore I'm just so frustrated constantly and just so mentally drained and down and I just need to get out of this
It's really hard when you're stuck in a rut like that because it's like your mind wants to go one way but then you want to go another. So I completely get it. What I like to do is...
I like to either journal out my thoughts or start like affirming like different affirmations like I'm loved, I can do this, I'm a good mom, I am this, I am that, and keep repeating it over yourself.
One thing that I've learned is that our subconscious is what runs the program and essence and so whatever we put in our minds and whatever we're constantly think I'm thinking about that was going to be projected so it's like we have to be careful with
And we have to take a hold of the reins of the horse so to speak so I like to when I get into that into that mode I'm just like OK no I'm a good mom I'm doing this I'm doing the best that I can I'm doing this blah blah blah blah bye
And I also start being grateful for little things. Like even, thank you, I'm so grateful or thank you, Father, that I can walk. Thank you that I am alive. Thank you that I can breathe. Little things like that start being thankful for little things. and that'll...
Feeling the same things and you know I feel like the weather has a lot to do with it too because it's really cold and achy so I've been staying in and feeling miserable but when it's nice and warm out like I'm more vibrant and go out with friends and do a bunch
Honestly, it's really hard because as moms we definitely bottle things up because we really don't have a choice. But I started therapy and it has been the best way for me to get out my thoughts and feelings at least once a week.
Sandra sweetie I want to encourage you to get into therapy if that's an option if not meditation or there's a book the brain of Buddha that I've read it it's a very good book and it helps you kind of
It just kind of reiterates those Buddha teachings that our pain and suffering comes from not letting God so that's a really good read I would encourage you to read that if you're looking to find yourself again
I don't want to negate how you're feeling, but it is all in your head. And I want you to know you can control that. Like if you're not in danger right this moment, or in pain right this moment, then it's just feelings and thoughts.
So I suggest if you feel comfortable therapy and also what will help is getting like a journal and just writing your thoughts or like feelings for the day, whatever the case may be.
And then every day you just write in that journal about how your day went or like what your feelings are. I do that and it's helpful for me. my therapist actually suggested me to do that.
Well I certainly hope that you don't like yourself to hemorrhage because that can just make the rest of your year just really just tumultuous enough but one day I will say is find some things that you do know you like to do that you like to enjoy
And find every reason and every excuse to always do those things. Put it in practice. You know what I'm saying? If this work take days off, the job will be there. Please believe. You know, you have to have time for you
If you have close friends or family or cousins or friends plan a time to get together and I'm saying whatever it takes you have to be intentional about getting out of what you're in you know it's not one day you'll wake up you have to you have to make plans on Waze get out
I can go on and on about this but on the more like practical basic ways if you have a park or anything around you just stay in the sun for little bit do you have a good book you want to read or favorite playlist to stay in a song even if it's just a joyride do you know
I'll be very honest with you I just smoke I literally have all I do is smoke and drink if I am in my bag if I'm off from work I am drinking if I'm not home from work I am smoking
