I totally agree with this response. Just slowing things down and letting your brain have time to think and process what's going on before your initial assessment of the situation takes over.

Initially, I used to just pace myself when it comes to reacting to a certain situation, but that has progressed into me not reacting at all, which is horrible.

Definitely journal and talking it out. That's, I mean, for me that's the best way to work through things, you know, get it out there, work through it, get down and dirty with it, you know. Much love.

I reckon when you feel an emotion that you're sick of feeling you should stand in the mirror Watch yourself going through that emotion and slap yourself in the face Just be like, all right Fucking slow down

I really like the journal option and also body scan. Do a body scan to see how you feel physically too.

I practice with real life events. Anything that causes an emotional trigger, I like to embrace it. And then afterwards, I like to understand why I felt that way and how to work through it the next time.

We need to be aware that emotions are temporary. They come and they go. That's why they change this two shall pass. When humans become unaware, we go overwhelmed and we feel like this emotion is too much and will never ever leave. Always will.

It's easy actually. It's easy and difficult at the same time. It's easy if you know the tricks. You just have to negate the emotions. Why is it that we are so worried about emotions? What does it have to do with any of the other things?

Yeah, don't give emotions so much of power. Yeah, emotions are important. Consciousness cannot rely or exist without emotions, but those are the good types of emotions.

We should just move on and focus on ourselves and our positive emotions rather than thinking about these negative emotions at all. We shouldn't be worried about the negative emotions. Let them do their job. We shouldn't be even concerned about them.
