I would say spaghetti. I love spaghetti with the garlic bread and cheese on the spaghetti. Yummy.

You know, I gave it some thought and my favorite choice would be the easiest to cook and the healthiest at the same time. So I think it's salad.

You know pasta, you know we make it at least once a week, you know I'm Italian, at least once or twice a week and uh you know I just remember the memories of my grandmother making this pasta when we came home with the jar sauce. Of course I despise it now being more an ingredient in my culture but it's awesome.

Pasta really put Italians on the map and the thing is is that Italians used to be discriminated and actually had a lot of racism towards them, especially in World War two But you know what, put it on the map or even anyone from any culture, that's their comfort food as well.

You know, treatment for Italians was fairly bad in those times, not as bad as blacks, but it was pretty bad. Like, my grandmother was treated horrible by the fascist Italians for having an American father, and when she came back after the war, she was treated horrible by the American kids.

She ended up becoming a very bitter woman because of how bad she was treated over those years. I mean, it was bad in Italy, you know, with the Germans almost getting shot down by a British plane. But when she came here, you know, they really laid it on her and then it stopped, obviously.

There are actually these racial slurs even for Italians. They aren't used now, but they were used then. My dad was called it. And also my great grandfather on my mother's side was in politics. And the guy said, why are we going to listen to this Guinea? And then my grandpa beat him up.
