Okay. This is my literal ranking of all the Gilmore Girls characters, from worst to best. Actually, let's just do the women for now because I think that's more fun and there's some hot takes involved.

Okay, so my favorite character, like number one without a shadow of any doubt is Emily Gilmore I think for various reasons but number one being she actually has character growth and some of the other characters simply cannot say the same and also I personally believe that

Oh my god, I got cut off, but I personally believe she was typically in the right Emily Gilmore. Typically. Not always, but usually.

Number two is obviously Paris Geller like that goes without saying. She's an icon, she's a legend, she is the moment. Rory Gilmore wanted to be her, could never, could never be her, could never be Paris. She's such a fleshed out nuanced character also.

Obviously, Lane is number three. They did Lane so dirty. She deserved so much better. She deserved such a better ending. Rory was not a good friend to her. Time and time and time and time and time again. She wasn't. And that's just on... that's facts.

Speaking of somebody else, speaking of somebody else who wasn't a good friend, Lorelai Gilmore wasn't a good friend, but you know who was a good friend? Suki. She's number four. She just is the moment and Lorelai was constantly making her feel bad and that's cancelled.

Miss Patty. Miss Patty's next. Like, everybody needs a little gossip girl in their life. I love her, I stan her, she is the moment, she is the drama, that she's the best, and everybody needs a good ad, good dance teacher, so like, slay.

Next up is Babette. Babette, frickin' icon number six. She's just a good person and her and Maury's relationship is 100% the strongest relationship depicted on the show It's hardly depicted, which says a lot. It does.

Coming in at number seven, can we talk about character growth? Mrs. Kim. Mrs. fucking Kim. She grew so much. She cared so deeply for Lane by the end. I was proud of her. I was.

obviously coming in at number eight is Madeline and Louise listen they always just wanted to get laid and have a good time and you cannot judge them for that you really can't if they did anything more they would been higher up but they weren't that consequential

It's really hard to choose who comes in second to last and who comes in last. I think for me it's Rory in second to last because half of her problems stem from Lorelai, you know what I mean? Her whininess, the whole thing, you know?
