Barbie Ferreira is opening up on the armchair expert podcast about why she really left you for ya she just has all the crazy rumors and basically says that long story short she didn't want to be portrayed as the fat friend she also says that Sam Levinson typically writes characters that he can relate to but that he just simply cannot relate to cat and it was a mutual decision for her to leave and I think that she is kind of sugarcoating it a little bit but let me know your thoughts I'm just happy that she chose what's best for her and if she didn't feel like you know the character was being written in a good way then I'm glad she chose to leave

I definitely think that's so good for her I love her as a person and I definitely feel like the way that they are portraying her is kind of messed up and a lot of it too I feel like was almost fetishizing in a way and I'm proud

I too think she's sugarcoating it just a bit because I have heard rumors that she had a fight with Sam and that's why he cut out a majority of her scenes in season two of Euphoria. I'm not sure how true that is, but you know what, I think at the end of the day she did what was right for her and she stood up for the character Cat and also showing people to not settle for less. So kudos to Barbie.
