Okay, Talba mom, I need all the help, all the advice that you can possibly give. My son is four and we are having such a hard time getting him to stay in his room for quiet time. We don't expect them to nap, like I don't expect him to nap, but I need him to at least stay in his room, so I have time to get caught up on work and the little things like laundry and whatnot that I'm not able to get done when they're awake because they definitely like to play on stop and they love for me to be involved so it's very rare that I'm actually able to finish like doing something around the house with them awake. So what do you guys do? I don't want to give them or him a tablet. I feel like that's the only way that I'm gonna get some time. I don't really want to go that route. I'm fine with using tablets but that's like my last stitch effort so give me all your advice please.

If you're not expecting him to take a nap, you can always do like a little book area and ask him like, a real book, a drawing picture, or building something with building blocks, or something and it makes them want to be creative.

And if he asked me please and I told him sorry I can't do that right now and for the first while it's gonna take a while for him to get that but eventually hopefully he'll start doing it

My daughter is two and a half and she sometimes doesn't nap at all Actually most days she doesn't nap anymore. I thought around three to fours when they stopped napping but it could be wrong.

I didn't listen long enough to get them but why don't I just tried to distract the heck out of them set them up with something that's even if it's messy just set it up with them in the room and get your own time
