Good morning everyone so I have a question to all of the mamas who dealt with severe headaches during pregnancy what were y'all able to do like what helped call me down and everything because this thing is massive and Tylenol just it's it's not doing it and I can't take ibuprofen so what what are some tips and advice that y'all can give me to help with this headache because it's it's it's getting bad
You can try putting a cold towel or cold ice pack on the back of your neck. You can also try sitting in a dark room. You can even try taking a warm shower to help relieve that attention.
It's supposed to help like relieve the tension off your neck and your back. You can also try Like getting a massage on your neck and your shoulders but if it doesn't go away in a couple of days I would definitely talk to your doctor.
Thank you so much for the advice. I'm definitely going to have to try different things and figure out what works and doesn't work. and I will definitely keep that in mind.
Well I hope you're feeling better today and that your headache went away I would definitely give it a try but you could just have to figure out what works best for you but I definitely hope your headache has gone away or at least subsided
My first and my second I actually got really bad headaches even with this baby right now I use peppermint oil on my temples my lower neck and behind my ears
Also, if you can lay in a dark room, even if you have to give your kid an iPad, do that with a cold washcloth on your head. What else did I do I'm trying to think. make sure you're hydrated as well.
I'm gonna be honest Tylenol is garbage especially when you're pregnant I find it does not help with a single thing so yeah I hope some of the suggestions I gave you work on peppermint oil really worked for me
Oh I am definitely gonna keep that in mind because my headaches always come and go some are way worse than others but yeah I definitely agree to long does not help it's not worth anything to me
I've heard great wonders about the cap that you can put on over your head after you take it out of the freezer. It helps a lot with like just cooling your head down and it helps relieve the headaches. I have complex migraines so like I've thought about doing this myself. But I've heard great reviews.
