What would you do if a friend keeps canceling plans, especially at the last minute? so I Feel like if this were to happen time and time again It would make me question how much my time and my energy and our friendship mean to that person because it's like I Understand that things happen, but simultaneously it's like okay. Well something's obviously up and For whatever reason I would like to get to the bottom of it and try to understand why it keeps happening But if there's no resolution then yeah I want to end the friendship and just move on because I rather be around people that respect me and my time and my energy But yeah, that's where I stand. Let me know where you stand
Stop inviting them to things Simple as if they keep planning things in place of you or They don't appreciate your friendship because the way I see it is if I am planning things and taking my time out And you're not just being Decent then I'm just gonna stop stop because if you can't seem to tell that other person or that other thing that You've got to cancel on them because you've already got something planned then I'm sure but I'm inviting you anymore because you might do it again
I would be like, well, we're not going to do anything together because if you keep cancelling, like, I've literally had people who do this and I just, I just don't take time to do anything with them because I know what the outcome is going to be. They're just going to keep cancelling shit.
You know, I love the way that you worded your answer because I'm the exact same way. Because why would I waste more time and energy into someone who's not gonna respect something that I wanted to do with them? And knowing that the outcome would be the same time and time again, I'm like, do you even value our friendship? No, you don't. So, you know, I'm not gonna move forward and I'm gonna distance myself and revisit it later if I have to. But for now, yeah, it's a no.
