What would you do if someone in your circle stole one of your pet or baby names? Because, I know a lot of people who would throw hands because they gatekeep that, especially in their iPhone notes or in a journal. And, um, I feel like for me it depends on how close the person is to me, like, living-wise and also just, like, relationship-wise because if they're on, like, the other side of the world I'm gonna be like, okay, well, at the end of the day that's, like, the name I picked out but if they're, like, a street over from where I live, that's just really awkward and I'm confrontational as hell, so I feel like I would be like, um, hello, like, uh, where'd you get that name from? Um, I don't know, I don't know. Let me know what you would do.

You know, the way that you're handling this is what I hope more people would view it as because I feel like people, not exactly gatekeep names, but they get very upset because if it had a certain reason or certain, you know, whatever, and then someone else just took it from them, they feel like that name was stolen. So people get very territorial with names, I will tell you that.

I must say, I'm quite relieved at your reaction because the way that you initially asked it and proposed it, I was like, uh-oh, I might step on some toes here. I mean, hey, you're asking for an opinion and you're receiving it perfectly fine. But yeah, I think it's, I think life is too short. If people don't realize that now, like in the moments of what's been going on the last couple of years, 10 plus years, it's not, it's not that serious.

this is a joke right like i'm just curious is this a joke this has got to be a joke i'm sorry like what like if you've had the name picked out for your child or your pet like that was the name that you picked and like you just so happen to find out that your friend or your neighbor or whatever is picking the same name like they're gonna be two different children your your middle name probably won't be the same and your last name won't be the same i don't know

good morning this is a very good question I mean and my friend wasn't mad when I named my daughter Jada and she has a daughter named Jada it just spelled differently she spelled hers differently and I spelled mine you know the four letters our daughter has five letters in her name I mean

Honestly I wouldn't really care. It's just a name. Just find another name. I would be pissed but I still wouldn't really care.
