So if you're from the UK, we are experiencing some really hot weather right now a little bit of a heatwave in September. It was a bit unexpected, you know and Because our houses are made to keep the warmth in, there's no escape at night You'd think the temperatures would drop but no, no, no, no, no, it feels hotter than ever So let me know. Are you surviving in this heat? Do you have any tips, any tricks? Let me know in the comments
See our bedroom is in the sun all day and in summer at night time it's just like a sauna because it's been heated up all bloody day so I've actually kept my curtains closed all day the last couple of days so it's not been too bad at night actually so yeah keep your curtains closed it might help
See, I already do that and it's still bloody hot. It's like about, last night I went into Cole's room and he's got one of those little like temperature things and it was like 27 degrees in his room. And the window was open with the curtains closed. And it was just, I put a fan on and everything for him but I didn't put a cover on him because it was just far too warm, bloody hell.
yeah tonight it's it's weird because it's not been as sunny as yesterday here has it? But I've just come up to our bedroom now and it's absolutely fucking roasting. It's so hot.
Okay, I've got a few tips. Keep your windows closed in the daytime, keep your curtains closed in the daytime, and then open them all up at night when it's colder. I'd say drink plenty of water in the daytime, stay hydrated, but also you can drink hot drinks. That will help regulate your body temperature, but also hot food, spicy food. It's all good, you know? You've got to sweat it out, you know? That also helps too.
They're very good tips. I have been drinking a lot of tea because I find coffee doesn't help in weather like this for me. That and water. Yeah, I took an ice pack up to bed with me last night. Yeah, I needed it. It helped.
