You're right, a hot dog is not a sandwich, but I was perplexed today to find out that Americans call crumpets English muffins. There are two different things, Benny Boom Boom, two very different things, and now I feel like, you know, we need to start stirring some shit up again and educate that crumpets are not English muffins.

I 100% agree with you. A hot dog and a burger, they're not sandwiches. A sandwich is two pieces of flat bread. Flat. Bread. Or a bun. Even that's not a sandwich. It's not a sandwich anyway. Forget that. It's not a sandwich. Forget any of it. It's not a sandwich.

What if you go to a sub shop, like Subway or D'Angelo's? That's not flatbread, but is a sub a sandwich? Because it's called a sub sandwich, isn't it? So a sub's a sandwich, but it's on a roll, but a hot dog's not a sandwich, and it's on a roll, and a burger's not a sandwich, and it's on a roll, but a sub is a sandwich, and it's on a roll.
