As of August 14, 2023, Governor Josh Green of Hawaiʻi has confirmed, based on his continuous communication with emergency response teams on Maui currently, that there are in fact 99 people found dead on Maui, caused by the devastating natural disaster that is still raging at this moment. Governor Josh Green has confirmed, based on the communication through emergency services, that the death toll is expected to rise. There are over 1,000 Maui residents missing caused by this disaster. Fires are still raging. Sources are limited. I implore you to please pray for Maui and Hawaiʻi County at this time. If you can donate any money, please do so to the fund placed on this post. Please be careful the kind of news that you watch. The mainstream news is not reporting 100% the facts. Try to search for local news stations that are based in Hawaiʻi to get the facts. I will keep you all posted as everything unfolds. Again, please keep Maui in your prayers. I certainly will. Thank you.
Yeah, this is so sad to see, like, I didn't dig too deep into this just yet, but I've been seeing clips and hearing some conspiracies behind it, but not ready to get deep in that rabbit hole just yet, but so sorry to see that this is happening.
I've definitely been praying. My neighborhood had a donation, and I donated a lot of the kids' clothes and some diapers and some baby wipes. All those little things matter when you go and do things like this, especially when you got away with, you know, children and things. I always think about the kids, because I have kids, and I'm like, what would I do in that situation? And what would I need as a mother? So, yeah.
Thank you, Tammy, so much for placing yourself in the shoes of a mother. I love that. That is a beautiful thing, and I'm grateful that you were able to donate. Thank you so much for your heart and for your kindness. The people of Maui will definitely appreciate you for what you have done for them. Thank you.
you know what let me tell you something whenever there's a national disaster I just think that or or anything that happens to someone right and I'm like what can I do and I'll always be like if I was in a situation right because I'm a mother and I'm a woman what would I need so I usually always donate or try to give what I need people always to give to give tampons and diapers I feel like that's like the last thing on somebody's mind you're taking food shelter and water right but tampons and diapers is just as needed as
Devastating. Devastating. Devastating. I feel so bad for people who have these type of tragedies that happen. It's it's unbelievable and I feel so bad for the families. Shout out to you for reporting this.
Uff, that's scary. It's in those moments that you see those kinds of situations in other places in the world when you actually value that in your country, at least in my country, those kinds of things don't happen, right? There aren't those climatological disasters and things like that that you say, uff, you have to regret many lives and, well, obviously the material things, but lives are the worst.
Oh, wow, man. Damn. Prayin' for y'all, prayin' for y'all, man. May God protect y'all. May the Most High protect y'all, man. Real talk, blessings y'all way.
