Original blueprints were kept, and they show designs for a lengthy staircase that led to this hall of records room. Included in these blueprints are plans for a hidden chamber that would not have been accessible to the public. They were planning to put an ultra-secure depository in this room and store national secrets, highly sensitive information, things of that nature. It was never finished, supposedly. But do we know that for sure?
