Did you guys know that there was a point where the Wasp was going to play the central female role in the Avengers? Joss Whedon was concerned that Scarlett Johansson wouldn't commit, so he had backup plans to put the Wasp up as the primary Avenger of that gender. What do you guys think? Um, I don't know. I think they both do a good job in their roles. I think probably each one would have had their pluses and minuses. I like Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp, so I could see it working.
