I missed the excitement of a sleepover. Like planning, like a good Friday or Saturday. All your friends free. Y'all got pizza, Y'all got wings. Y'all got Capri Suns playing games like Mario Car and just, you know, kicking into, like, three o'clock in the morning.
But to answer the question, I actually miss like the universal energy of the time period when I was a child, right? The world just feels much different than it used to feel like the energy of it. Also playing outside was my thing. I miss playing outside with my friends.
Oh, you're fine, no worries. I enjoyed hearing what you had to say. But also, I think that we should consider, is it just because we were kids? Like, we were youthful, you know, and now we're old and we've just matured, we have a fuller understanding of life. Do you think that could be it, too? Not necessarily the environment, us.
It's definitely different for real. To be honest, atmosphere feels different, sky looks different, sun, moon, everything. Everything. The perspective is completely shifted.
We can watch all the old movies we used to watch back in the day. That's the Ravens. Cute little pajamas that we are wearing. And we can take selfies and go live on Instagram.
You just reminded me of a very traumatic event. So, we- us boys were just playing the video games in the living room and there was girls. They were in the other room and they slowly took every boy one by one and forced him to wear makeup. Although I didn't get hit because I overreacted and punched a girl in the face.
Hey, that's true. Let's normalize adult sleepovers, right? And then we don't have to worry about people driving home drunk. We can all get shit faced. That's how it lit to me.
I would definitely go and bring back those times memories that I have with my parents like playing on the beach Just bonding with them because now I'm just so caught up with work and all the careers that I have and I don't really have time to spend with them.
One of my friends is actually really great at planning these whenever her husband travels for work. I highly recommend making sure you have sleepovers with your friends on a regular basis.
