So growing up I always even like to this day I've always had a few of these family members that just like wouldn't clean up after themselves and just didn't take responsibility for their actions so since my daughter was able to obviously do these things I Implemented of like her cleaning her up after herself and making sure she knew like garbage was garbage and Just you know like regular Independent things to do so I'm just wondering is this something that you have also implemented and at what age? And what are some things that you do do?

So my oldest is actually two and ever since she was about 18 months I started following this like chart that kind of generalized different like chores that they could be doing according to their age and it's super basic stuff.

But even fostering those like early development paths, a lot of toddlers actually really enjoy it. She loves helping to clean up the table, putting away dishes, washing dishes, quote unquote.

Yeah, so I do practice independence with my kids. My daughter is six, my son is 23 months. So we definitely try to do different activities and we also use a joy chart that I actually found on Pinterest which has been helpful.

This is something that I've definitely implemented with my kids like when I have the ability to and I'm mentally sane, let's say. I ask them to help me around the house and if we could clean up and stuff like that.

I'm trying. I even bought him like a learning tower to see if they can help. I'm trying to see if he can clean up after himself.

Probably around age 3 when we started doing this.

Yes I do I leave them in the house by themselves for 12 hours a day please

Yeah, for sure. I even started when my son was like around two, just some little different things that he could do. like sensory bins on his own and different activities. And then as he's gotten older, more like chores responsibilities that he can do on his own.

Yeah I definitely think that's super important and it's just part of life to clean up after yourself anyways so it's just something that you have to teach them as a parent and I started since like they could literally do anything.
