Okay, mama's it's my son's first haircut tomorrow He is almost to what are some tips and tricks that I could use so that way he kind of handles the situation better Also, he is autistic. So that is a game changer as well So any tips and tricks that might help him get through his first haircut is greatly appreciated
That's so exciting my oldest he's seven and what I did for him was I took him to like this I can't remember what it's called it's called like cookie cutters or something like that or they sell them in like this cool little truck and they have like a TV show on for them so anything like that will distract them like if you have like an iPad or maybe just even like put some thing on your phone
But like I will say, it is hard for them to stay still. You just got to try and be patient. And I know it's hard for them to sit still. But that's what I do with my oldest. I just put something on my phone for him and just try talking to him and entertaining him, least given him a little bit of distraction while the lady cuts his hair.
My nephew is also autistic but my sister-in-law found out that it was easier for him to get his haircut when he had his tablet right there because it would like distract him from what's going on and sometimes ear plugs as well because the noise and vibration from the clippers bug his head but I hope that helps out for you
