What's up stereo so I don't know if any are writers or plan on being writers but there's a strike happening right now within the movie and TV industry the last strike happened in 2007 lasted 100 days in a cost the movie industry roughly $2 billion this is pretty interesting because we have such a large like we are such a large flow of Contant coming in nowadays and it just affects everybody from the companies them selves the riders to the consumers so we'll see how this goes at the main hit here is gonna be those like live TV shows like jimmy Kimble the late night shows all those type of guys are going to sell for first but then it's going to trickle down to the streaming services luckily enough Those big-name companies have content to stream and have enough to last him for a minute but in the long run it's going to affect them let me know what y'all think about this writer strike and if you guys inspire or want to write for these companies maybe you're now is your time to jump in and get your foot in the door
We definitely support the WG a strike around here riders deserve every Derek mean everything starts with a script so when these people deserve to be paid what they should be paid especially in this era of streaming where they're not getting the residuals they deserve
No I don't include you guys like I am in full support of this yeah without the riders we have no show that there's no concept there's no dialogue nothing without them so these authors and writers need to get paid well because they are the ones who are ultimately treating that constant
I didn't listen to the whole thing but I know a lot of riders and I'm on the side of the riders like they deserve to get paid what they deserve they should not be getting shorted if it wasn't for them none of these shows would be a successful or they are so
