Hey y'all, guess you already know that the WGA is on strike, that's the Writers Guild of America and they're marching in the streets in both Hollywood and New York and all over the place because writers live everywhere. They also make everything you see. That means cartoons like I've shared here, Arthur, my buddy Cohen is in the streets in New York and with his sign saying, what would Larry David do? right, writers write all of our favorite stuff. Everything. Everything, everything, everything. So without them, we're nothing. I hope you support that union and my content is Movies and TV and I will be kind of regurgitating older information for you until this strike is done because I'm not going to write anything new. No, I'll just let you know about movies I've already seen and stuff that is great actually Netflix right now has so much good shit on it that is from a few years ago like just go on Netflix and search Academy Award films you're gonna have your little minds blown Alright, welcome to stereo. See you around.
So the WGA is a union the writers Guild union they write for TV and film and the big studios we're not playing ball in the time of streaming things have changed they've been dealing with writers as like a gig economy like hiring and firing when indeed riders are unionized so they weren't playing ball so they both the West Coast and the East Coast of the United States got together and said we're walking out so they are on strike for the first time since 2008 and I hope they get what they need
