I get my news from a little bit of everything, everywhere, that is a trusted site of source, mainly a see it to believe it kind of deal, I mean you got the .orgs and the .edus and the .govs and you got your public library resources and you got your newspapers, which is of course mainstream media.
Nice, that's a good way to do it, .orgs, .edu's, .gov's, I don't know, gotta be careful of .gov's, right, because that might be just propaganda, but I agree, I'm a fiend for research, do a lot of it.
Ah yes, the propaganda. It seems to be everywhere, though. You just have to be knowledgeable enough and understanding to make your own decisions at the context that's being presented to you, or the rhetoric being presented. Yeah, I like having different perspectives. It's really neat.
Yeah, I like getting different perspectives also. It just blows my mind how the mainstream media, or at least broadcast news stations, have just become an echo chamber. And there's many clips online, on YouTube, where you can see them literally repeating the same sentence, dozens of stations. That's a little disconcerting.
Good evening and another thing with Dave, hope you're doing okay, hope you're doing well. Thank you for the question. Personally for me, I actually take what the mainstream media with a grain of salt. And that is with any outlet, whether it's Fox News or CNN. I typically get my news through the grapevine. And when I hear it through the grapevine, I look into it. Great question.
I do hope you have a lovely evening, Dave. What do you do? Do you typically believe the mainstream media and how do you get your news? I'd love to hear your response from the man himself that asked this question.
Hey, Moon. Yeah, thanks for the inquiry. I get my news from a bunch of different sources. I don't really utilize mainstream media at all. I see clips that are posted from the mainstream media sometimes online, but I usually am on YouTube. Two of my favorite sources to check in with are The Jimmy Dore Show and Russell Brandt because they kind of synergize with what their people are saying. And other than that, I got...
And then I have a handful of journalists that I follow Probably ten different journalists that I follow on IG where I get updates on the daily Yeah, so a couple of those are RT America, The Real News Network, The Grey Zone to name but a few
I absolutely do not believe the mainstream media, certainly in the UK they've been shown to be economical with the truth at the very least and at the worst whipping up a frenzy based on mistruths, so no I do not believe the mainstream media.
Right there with you, my friend. Right there with you, Julie. Yeah, I don't know if you've seen, but recently, you know, the BBC used to be a super reputable outlet, and now, like recently, they've had their ass handed to them by, what is it, Andrew Tate, and by Elon Musk, and also by a leader in Africa. Just absolutely handed them their ass. All three were beautiful to watch.
