So for me, the singer turned actress that really killed it in the movie she was in would have to definitely be Aliyah. I love Aliyah, I love their music and I love the movie she was in. Unfortunately, that I know of, she was only on two. The choice Romeo Must Die and my favorite Queen of the Damned. I wish she would have got to make more movies. That would have been pretty cool. Definitely recency bias but I really liked Vince staples on Abbet elementary I just thought he was really funny and he just played that particular role really well
