Alright everybody, what's your favorite animated movie? Mine is Princess Mononoke by Studio Ghibli and Master Miyazaki. We need a little Dear God Shishigami energy right now. Pissed off Dear God would be good. But also Nostalgic, I love A Bug's Life by Pixar for Disney and of course Sony Animation's Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, a masterpiece. What's yours?
You too. Yeah, that sequel was just as good as the first one. And Jack Jack got involved in that sequel. I want them to do it again so we can. But I hope it's just as great as the other two. And I want to see you guys.
So Toy Story is one of my favorite movies of all time, but a movie that came out last year, two years ago, that not enough people talk about, The Mitchells Versus the Machine, speaking of Sony Pictures Animation. If you haven't seen that movie, check it out for sure, it's amazing.
Welp, my friend Jake, I think I'm gonna be watching Mitchell's vs. Machines tonight, because that like completely escaped my radar even. Never even heard of it, dude. Love it.
Yeah, Mitchell's verse of the machines went straight to Netflix. It didn't even get a theatrical release. I absolutely love it It's about this girl who just graduated high school is going into college She loves making films and her family goes on one last road trip
Okay, Coraline would be number one in our house. We even have toys from Leica Studios in Oregon. But it's not animation. It's stop motion and the best stop motion. Everything is handmade. Go on YouTube and find a video of the making of Coraline. You're gonna die if you love it!
Okay, I'm not gonna say this is my favorite but highly underrated because it keeps coming up because I have an improv team named FernGully. And my partner hasn't watched FernGully and I think it's highly, highly underrated.
Bambi! I remember as a young boy growing up, I watched this movie and it caused my young little boy mind to mature so much because I had to accept the fact that Bambi's mother died.
Okay, Samuel, that was deep. I think I shed a tear and Bambi was amazing. Also early, like early Disney, the painting and backgrounds in Sleeping Beauty. Gorgeous.
Oh my god, absolutely, how could I forget Encanto? Encanto slaps and I will die on the hill that under pressure is Lin-Manuel Miranda's best work like 1000% No, sorry, surface pressure.
Of course I know who framed Roger Rabbit. I even met Joanna Cassidy once. She's very tall and beautiful, much more beautiful in person. She played Dolores and she was also in Blade Runner. Just a little tidbit. I talk about movies, so if you want to follow.
This is one of the hardest questions I've ever answered in my entire life. I'm gonna give an answer, but then as soon as I hit send on this, it's gonna change. Right now, my favorite animated movie of all time is Heavy Metal.
I am not going to relegate this to favorite because I have very many, but I will say things about movies that get underrated. And fuck, now I can't remember the name. What's that one with the memory balls?
inside out inside out I just put on on a whim once like on a Saturday when I didn't want to get out of bed and it was surprisingly really good and I cried and it was emotional and I have a little pin of the fucking
God damn it, I hate how they make these 15 seconds. There's like this character that's a figment of her imagination In the movie that like disappears. It's a memory she has to sacrifice. Anyway, I have a little pin of that guy.
I loved Inside Out. I think I teared up too. It was really really good. And I listened to the other sound **** from you and I'm glad that you have that little guy.
