So my sister is starting a new business and I wanted to do something nice for her and surprise her with a logo. I think that'll be so fun. And I know she would love it. And I was going to do it from Fiverr. So if anyone has used Fiverr, have you got scammed? Is there a way to tell that there's scammers? Like, I don't know. I'm just trying to avoid getting scammed. So if you used it and you had a good experience, please let me know. And if you got scammed, also please let me know because I don't want to get scammed.
So when I was trying to pursue like a UTC journey watch I currently am not right now I did it on five or set up an account posted a gig stuff like that but I never got like any like action from it I guess so I kind of just like left it alone because I was a little iffy on if it was a scam or not as well but yeah
Yeah, I'm right there with you. Same thing for me. I like took some time to make a gig and I haven't gotten anything except like one offer that kind of seemed a little scammy but um I just kind of dropped it too because it wasn't for now worth it.
Yes, I did the same thing for UGC. I created a Fiverr account in an Upwork account. And first off, it just seemed like it was just too much to do. Like too many hoops to jump through to start the caring gigs and deals. And I think I was really being lazy and I wanted to do all of that. And I'd rather just email companies. So I haven't really had a lot of experience to say it's a scam, but I have heard good stories about Fiverr.
I have used fiber before and I did like a lot of research I heavily read all of the reviews that each person got and went through their work like I read every description that I did from like the person that I used and I really liked it they got it back to me in a super timely manner and they did a great job so highly recommend fiber but you definitely have to like figure out and weed through some of the bad ones and just kind of do your research before
So I like a few months ago took lotta time and made a gig him and I to be honest did not get anything except like one low offer that seemed pretty skinny but I don't know maybe it was a real offer so I haven't had luck I have heard of other people that I've had a lot of luck on there I guess maybe it is pens I don't know maybe they have different tips but personally I just haven't had a good luck on there
So I don't know about forever but you can get scammed anywhere but I've looked on it and I was going to do some things for a book I was writing but it just didn't feel right so I didn't do it but try Kantha if you lightly doing it the kind of yourself or you could just like send them kind of what you want and they can help you out
I'm sure there are scammers on there I think it's the same as like any site that posts gigs like you just have to be aware of ones that seem sketchy but I honestly have not heard of people getting scammed a lot on there and I work in contact creations so I do hear a lot of people getting gigs from there
No there's a lot of safeguards in place for for scams and they just look at the sellers that have actual ratings and reviews I'd say just be clear about what you expect from them and what is agreed upon when you do the transaction and should be fine
