I don't think I will ever make Barbie like a part of my modern day parenting just because like the ideology behind it where basically, you know, like I don't know I I grew up playing Barbies and whatnot, but Just like obviously growing up like I came to realization and the knowledge of like the story behind Barbie And that just means like living in this perfect world this perfect face perfect body like and that's not the world that we live in that's not the life that we live in and I don't want my daughter growing up thinking that she has to be perfect or look a certain way or have a certain type of body to be confident in like that's not what life is about and that's not what I want her to be focused on in her life is just you know being this perfect person with this perfect looks and perfect everything so yeah I will definitely not be implementing Barbie and my modern-day parenting. Like I might get my daughter like a dollar too but I just want her to know like the story behind it and the true meaning of Barbie and I just don't want her living like that life. You know what I mean? Like the life of not being confident. I want her to be confident. I want her to be confident in herself and her looks and her you know personality and everything. I just want her to be a confident happy little girl that she is but yeah
One thing that I love about Barbie now is that she comes in many different sizes, colors, and different hair colors. and I think it's really awesome because it shows girls that everybody is different and unique in their own way.
I totally agree and I was like what I'm gonna teach my daughter but like I just hate that like just like the view of the whole Barbie you know what I mean like just like looking really good and like have these perfect looks in this perfect light
I totally understand where you're coming from and definitely like when I was younger that's the Barbie You know, but now there's actually a lot of diversity with Barbie and I really really like it
Like my stepdaughter she has Barbies that are all different races all different sizes and figures all different hairstyles different like some that are in wheelchairs what even has hearing aids
I think that they've worked really hard to kind of get away from that idea of like the perfect blonde blue-eyed skinny like Barbie and they have so many different options now and I actually I actually really, really appreciate that.
Oh wow no way I didn't know that if I deathly knew that I would've added that into my soundbite but I didn't know that they made it more like diverse and more like excepting in our society today that is really great actually
Yeah honestly I was really happy and surprised about it too when she wanted her first Barbie I took her to the Barbie island I was like oh my gosh this is not the Barbie that I knew and I love it so next time you're at the store you should go look
I think previously Barbie was pretty much this picture perfect blonde busty doll But nowadays it's changed and they're starting to make a Barbie's lookal-
What does your so goofy ass off everybody a bullshit if I can draw grab even get your saw your grandma booty clap in the fucking right now we're actually we talking
Messenger said that you're talking about this because I have actually not gotten into the story of Barbie I never been into Barbie die much do you like look into a boy you know I know you talk about this I think I'm gonna look into it to kind of understand it better
