What's up everybody? It's Queen Donatella, your queen of sound bites in the building. I know you miss me. I know you did because I would too. I got another question for y'all as always. Do you feel like people have become too sensitive when it comes to people having opinions? Are we even allowed to have opinions anymore or do we have to watch what we say for the fear of offending someone, anyone? I don't know about y'all but I don't move like that. I don't operate like that. Intent for me is the number one thing and as long as the intent is pure, I can't help the sensitivity of others. But I would like for you all to tap in. Let me know.
Well, I would say that opinions should not be censored, but also understand that people are going to have counter opinions to your opinions, and that's the thing right there. So when somebody counters, is the one initially giving the opinion offended as well?
I would say that you're you know, you have the freedom to freedom to speak You don't have the freedom of reaction and it's not the reaction that bothers me. It's the action taken upon the reaction. Hold on let me explain.
Like, you can totally feel some type of way about somebody's opinion. I always say everybody's, your feelings are valid. However you feel is how you feel and that's valid. But if you start trying to silence somebody because you don't like their opinion, that's different.
These are little snippets of the Donatella show. That's what's up. That's that's the word. Facts 100. Mini shows. You know what I'm saying? My little mini shows up in the soundbites. Thanks for participating. Mysterious Nica.
What it do sissy how are you I would say yes everybody is allowed to have an opinion don't everybody have assholes so yes you should have an opinion even if no one listens
Rising to my CCM Yes, opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one. And everybody's allowed to their opinion. Okay, they have a right to their opinion, period.
This culture is so damn sensitive. You can't say nothing about nobody you can't comedians got a tiptoe and they just cracking jokes That don't make no sense.
Girl, it don't make no sense at all. At all. Like, you can't even be just talking generally and people just get upset. Like, this shit is crazy, but guess what? I'ma keep saying what I got to say. Period.
Mary Jane! Grand Rising and thank you for participating in my Soundbite Love. And yes, I do think people have come far too sensitive. But for me it's the action upon that sensitivity that's killing me.
Right, and if it does matter to you, if it does matter to you, that's alright too. But don't try to go doing nothing about it. That's about an opinion, right? Not even actions. You're trying to do something about an opinion.
And with that I also say it's not like I'm always trying to be on the offenses but being from a new generation makes me does make me sensitive like you kind of stated in your question
Okay to be sensitive, I'm very sensitive as well. I think is what do you do with that sensitivity? Are you trying to silence people because you don't like their opinions? Because that's something else entirely. Which you don't seem like that type of girl.
Freedom of speech, not freedom from reaction. I dig it, I dig it. And again, like I'm telling everybody else, I don't have a problem with other people's opinions about my opinion, but if you're trying to silence me because of my opinion, yeah, that's something you need to get that checked.
I think we're all still free to have opinions but we're not I guess free from getting criticisms on that opinion and I think everyone should just be honest but yes intent is more important than how you may see it.
