So I'm curious if you are a stay at home mom do you have to work or do you have a side hustle or do you wish you could or are you working mom and is that how you planned it I am kind of like a hybrid mom I work but I work from home but I work mostly full-time but it kind of fluctuates and I guess that's exactly how I would want it if I look at it when my son was little that was like the perfect mix but tell me about you
I am a stay at home mom. Going into being a stay at home mom, I was like, no, I'm not doing that. And then when she did come, I was on bed rest early. And when she did come, I just enjoyed it. So I stayed a stay at home mom now for five years.
I struggle with like mentally not bringing in money to help with the household, not that we technically need it, but it struggles because I was taught to work, like growing up my parents stressed that I always needed to have a job or a career, so that's why I struggle with that.
I definitely try to have a side hustle or something going on though. I'm thinking about getting into 31 right now. I'm a content creator and I also do like customizable stuff with like my Cricut. So sometimes I'll get like that stuff together but yeah.
Oh, I love that. I'm just getting into content creation. What niches are you creating content for? Are you doing UGC and how do you find your content creation jobs?
So I'm a stay-at-home mom who works straight from home full-time and I also have a side hustle It's not exactly what I wanted but it makes due for the situation that we're in.
I feel ya. I also have to work too. So I work from home and pretty full time and I wish that I didn't have to but at the same time I enjoy making more money and having some fun.
yeah it is not easy being a mom and going through all these obstacles like i wish i was able to just be a full day at home mom and live off one income but obviously that is impossible in the world we live in today because everything is so expensive
So I work for a company that's called anywhere works and I'm basically just a remote receptionist and I create bath and body products for liquid body butters to the scrubs to bath bombs and what not what are you do
So I am like full-time stay-at-home mom, no other job. I am pursuing content creation to bring in somewhat of an income, but yeah being a stay-at-home mom is definitely something that I always wanted.
So tell me about content creation because I'm just getting into this a little bit myself. I've always created content as a social media manager but like the UGC opportunities. So how are you finding jobs for that?
I guess I also consider myself a hybrid. I usually say that I'm a part-time stay-at-home mom, part-time working mom, because I only work about 15 hours a week. I work for three hours in the evenings five days a week.
And honestly, this is kind of exactly what my husband and I talked about before I got pregnant. I was a 100% stay-at-home mom for the first six months, exclusively breastfeeding. And then I started looking for a job once he started.
Once he started eating solids and taking a bottle we're still kind of working on the taking a bottle thing but that's why I only work for three hours at a time
And I do have some side hustles and I'm trying to establish some work from home stuff Because I do really like having my own income, but it's really hard to be away from my son Even if it's only for a few hours a day.
If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing for work in those three hours each day? And what did you do before becoming a mom? Because maybe there's some skills you can transfer over to online gigs.
I have always wanted to be a mom. I had a miscarriage as my first pregnancy and so I thought maybe I was never going to be able to be a mom and this is just what I've always wanted, what I've always pictured and I'm a stay home mom and I am happy.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, but I am glad that you did get to become a mom and that you're happy in that and that you enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. That's wonderful.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage but this response makes me so happy I think a lot of times they all mom's content to paint a bad picture of being a mom and always being mom and having not be there I didn't even that is my favorite
Thank you. I'm glad that I could help you. I love being a stay-at-home mom, love being with my kids and I also like having a little something for myself as well.
I am a stay at home mom I do not work or have any side hustles but I do wish that I did have a side hustle of some sort just to generate more income because I do love to spend money
I felt the same way when I became a stay home mom and I do have a side hustle like I do a YouTube and contact creation and that is definitely help me have some thing for myself while being a stay at home mom and I really do enjoy it
To be a career mom, but having children and having children back to back in the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to have two maternity leaves that were a year long. I realized that I never want to go back to corporate and I would rather work for myself.
I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and a stay-at-home mom. I prefer to work, however, finding a job with mother's hours and daycare is extremely difficult in this day and age and really depressing. We need to do better.
I was a stay-at-home mom. Now all my kids my age is 15, but I did have some side stuff that I tried to do, but I would say do what you can to make sure that you enjoy that time it flies by too fast.
But I also feel like if I did work from home or ahead of it aside has all that I wouldn't have as much time to like clean my house and cook and do all the housewife things I really do enjoy doing it most importantly spend time with my children so
