How would you guys promote yourself if you guys were a new artist and you wanted to make it in the scene? I mean there's so many different ways to promote yourself now. Back in the days they were just selling mixtapes or going to small little concert halls or opening for someone but now you've got so many social media platforms you can track of her on TikTok or you can just upload a very catchy song or put a little preview on Twitter that everyone goes crazy over, how would you get promoted yourself as a new artist?
Of course, controversy definitely gets some attention, so yeah, that probably could work out for you but then that's not, is that the way you want to make your name?
Yeah, but I wouldn't want the controversy to last my whole career. more like I get a bit of controversy to blow up than have a bit of redemption arc and then I just move from there.
Oh relentless tick-tock's I wanna try and get like a trending sound going I'm singing with industrialise peoples heads now there's non-stop to talking with my with my sound all the time is pub now
Do you know what I might have the full of the Central Cee approach I am because a hole and what you need to do you need the first identified as I audience I want to do that then you can tailor made how are you from yourself
Also basically the first thing I do as I go to this place called Camden Lock and I'll handover this for free as a person walks away I'll ask them for £5 and I have to listen to it
So through my research on how to market yourself as an artist, even a new artist on social media platforms, is a lot of times people make the mistake in shooting out various songs all at once. Nah.
What you got to do is you got to get people with probably the best song or catch a song or whatever that you're gonna Think that's gonna hit the market first and then you have to literally really plug that song for weeks, weeks with different media.
And then you go ahead and release the next song and you do the same kind of thing Promoting it showing you more to get it and then this is all leading up to the full release of maybe your EP or album.
It depends if I was like a rapper or something then it would be different but if I was just like a single then I'd probably like B.S.K. So see these YouTube, I don't know, social media, Instagram, promote my page or something, than all of them, some of you that are out.
So I feel like the best way to promote yourself as a new artist is probably just kidding people with a lot of followers to like shout you out or like post stuff you know and tag you in it
