Hey mamas I just did my 18 month check with my 20 month old baby at the doctor and he's doing amazing he is understanding and following directions like he knows everything to the T and he will have sent you instructions and do it unity but one thing that he doesn't do is use his words like he would ask for stuff and he knows the words he says those before him however he won't use them on a daily basis What are some tips that you have to get a omniscient to start using their words more often
I'm telling you watch Miss Rachel we've been watching Miss Rachel since my daughter was about six months old and now she's a year and she knows about 10 to 15 words she does sign language as well she knows like her gestures and stuff so definitely put Miss Rachel in
We have been watching Miss Rachel and he just thinks it's funny when you try to get him to talk. He just smiles at you and laughs. He also knows sign language but he just doesn't want to say the words.
I really don't understand the doctor they say he knows the words it is he just not ready to see them yet so I'm just trying to figure out how to make him ready
So what I did for my boys to get them to talk like my teacher is getting better at talking but use their every day things like what they use every day like their cup on their plate or utensil
Your shoes are jackets are toys are books and whatever they like hand you some thing you repeat what they gave you so like you know for example if they hand you a book can you say book
And, you know, if he gives you his cup, you know, you say, this is your cup. Can you say cup? And eventually, the more, like, you repeat yourself from whatever that they give you, you eventually they will learn what the word is and then it'll start.
Like a new word that my toddler has learned is ball and what we always did was every time that he had a small we would say that is a ball can you say a ball and about a couple weeks later he started to say it so
Yes exactly what Alyssa said I would just like constantly repeat stuff as well like if you did they're giving you your cup just like she said just keep saying cup like do you want your cup do you want some juice in your cup just constantly
