This app is never gonna be TikTok. And you know why? To whoever's listening, to the users of this app, to the creators of this app, to investors, whatever. You know why this app is never gonna be TikTok? Because it makes people feel bad. Like until the algorithm or the terms of service or the users change, this is just gonna be a cesspool dumpster fire of hurt feelings. Like people aren't on here making creative original great content, they're on here being a bunch of mean girls and hurting each other's feelings. And I used TikTok for an hour last night before bed, and my 4U page was filled with positive stories. Now it would be one thing if I could curate my 4U page here, and that blocking and ignoring and liking and doing that with certain content would actually change what I saw on my 4U page to make it more positive or more geared towards what I like that would be one thing. But every time I get on this app I feel worse. Every fucking time it's like I went through the McDonald's drive-thru and I regret it a little bit. So I mean like I just literally had a child with braces go how old are you? And yeah part of it is the onus is on me to ignore and block and and delete, I am a grown-up and that's what I do. I'm just saying that it doesn't make me want to use this app. It makes me want to delete it forever because I prioritize my happiness and my mental health. So I don't know if anyone out there actually fucking cares, but assuming that people who work for this app actually care about the success of this app. Maybe consider how this app makes people feel. If you fucking care!

Okay, for real though, I completely agree. I hate interacting too much on this app or like Like, some of the creators are fine, that's whatever, but you go listen to the comments and it's just like horrible.

I don't know if people are kidding a lot of time or they're just saying these things to be cringe or like what it is but you're right, it is absolutely giving mean girls and it you couldn't have said it better it just makes me unhappy to be here

Also, back in the day when I used to be more active on this app and doing talks all the time and stuff, there was this kid that would follow me to whatever I was doing and just death threat after death threat. And I blocked him and he kept popping up like it's not a fun place to be.

And also yes, TikTok makes me happy and the algorithm is amazing and magical. And it brings magical people into my life. Whereas here, like, I have to go search for people like you and Hes who I interact with on a daily basis. I get 10,000 would you rather?

I think like most of the comments don't even make sense or relate to the contact at all either as usually people just saying random shit or insulting the creator

Yes there's people insulting people and people saying random shit that doesn't have anything to do with a contact and it's like oh my God and OK yeah I got it boosted in the algorithm but still no one wants to hear it
