You're absolutely correct. You don't really need any of that. You don't need anyone telling you all of the things that you want to hear when you have a voice yourself.

Perspective is, yes, among men, you should not allow anyone to define who you are. The definition is only given through the definer and who has the authority and the right to define anything in terms of people existence. And that is the giver of life. That is God himself. There is no one else who could define your reality but God. And you could choose to be God, try to be God and define your own reality, but that's my own perspective of it.
