that makes no sense. That's the whole point of a tradition. something that lasted for centuries so it's pretty obvious that you should pass it down. kinda dumb to say that.
I get you, maybe you're coming from a certain place when you say that because I don't think a lot of traditions are supposed to be carry on I don't, like, have a purpose, have a reason if you don't have a purpose or a reason, why the fuck am I carrying you on? why? if it harms people especially, why my if it harms anything, why am I carrying it on?
I would disagree. I think traditions are technically supposed to be carried on, although if you have a family tradition or, I don't know, a tradition, a cultural tradition that you don't want to participate in for whatever reason, um, you shouldn't feel pressure to, to do it if you don't want to. But, technically, traditions are supposed to be carried on.
